From the Editors of Your Family Today

Send To A Friend

This parfait is a near-perfect snack since it first functions as an art project: Your kids can use their creativity to make stripes as they layer ingredients in the parfait dish. Plus, it’s packed with nutritious ingredients that actually taste really good! Just try not to be too surprised when your kids ask for seconds of flax seed and wheat germ!

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon low-fat granola
1 tablespoon honey crunch wheat germ
1 tablespoon ground flax seed
1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)

Directions
1. Layer all ingredients in large, tall glass.

2. Serve immediately.
